THEIA (Thay-a) was the ancient Greek goddess of vision and light. She was the daughter of Gaia (earth) and Uranus, the planet of innovation, technology and change. It was believed that she shined light on earth, giving people the power of vision, clarity and foresight, enabling them to see into and act for the future.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Melanie Hughes founded THEIA after working in the fashion PR and communications sector for over eighteen years where she worked across high-street, luxury and multi-brand online retailers. She has spent the last ten years supporting organisations focused on driving the transition towards a more circular and sustainable fashion industry. She previously worked as Global PR Director for luxury resale platform Vestiaire Collective and has since supported a wide array of clients working on sustainability and circular initiatives including Fashion for Good, Selfridges, TrusTrace, Fashion Revolution, The Luxury Closet, Loan the Look and PEFC International. Her extensive experience in delivering communications for leaders in this sector inspired her to launch a boutique PR agency dedicated to scaling impact.
